We share information with service providers when necessary to provide and support our services, as described below.
Banks and payment providers – to set up and/or to obtain payment of any amounts due to us.
AI service providers — Relevant conversation text and configured responder instructions are transmitted to OpenAI to generate AI replies. When visual recovery is needed, cropped conversation screenshots and recovery instructions may also be transmitted to OpenAI. Anthropic may receive visual recovery requests if you configure the optional backup service. Requests use HTTPS and your configured API credentials. These providers process submitted information under their applicable terms, privacy policies, and account settings.
Our IT system providers – in order to provide software to set up your account, to communicate with you via webchat and other communications providers and to provide our systems to us, including for the purposes of hosting, support and software licensing.
Social media platforms — to provide the messaging services you configure. Any website advertising activities are separate; extension conversation content and recovery screenshots are not used for personalized advertising.
Online survey companies and market research agencies – to undertake surveys (including for example, our website satisfaction survey) and other market research and to analyse the results.
Digital analytics companies – for the purposes of website analytics and reporting in respect of our analytics and marketing.
Professional advisers including lawyers, bankers, auditors and insurers – for the purposes of providing consultancy, banking, legal, insurance and accounting services.

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including applicable legal, accounting, and reporting requirements.
At the end of that retention period, your data will either be deleted or anonymised (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes.
To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.

EZ Messenger Browser Extension, AI Replies, and Self Healing
Information accessed
EZ Messenger accesses contact names, profile and conversation identifiers, message content, and messaging activity necessary to operate your configured campaigns, generate AI replies, verify delivery, and troubleshoot messaging operations.
AI replies
Relevant conversation text and your configured responder instructions are transmitted to OpenAI using your saved API key to generate replies.
Self Healing and visual recovery
When normal Messenger control discovery cannot proceed, EZ Messenger may inspect accessibility controls and capture a screenshot cropped to the conversation area in its designated messaging tab. Screenshots may contain messages, names, profile images, and other content visible within that area.
Necessary screenshots and recovery instructions are transmitted to OpenAI, or to Anthropic if you configure the optional backup service, to locate messaging controls and recover an existing messaging operation.
Browser permissions
Self Healing uses Chrome’s debugger permission temporarily to inspect the designated messaging tab and perform validated mouse or text input. The extension disconnects the debugger after each recovery step. This feature is not used to monitor unrelated browsing.
Your controls
Automatic recovery and visual recovery are enabled by default unless you have saved a different preference. You can disable either feature under Support → Self Healing.
Storage and retention
The extension does not save recovery screenshots. AI providers may retain submitted content according to their applicable policies and your account settings. We do not guarantee immediate deletion by those providers.
Contact lists, settings, delivery records, and operational logs may be retained in local extension storage and service backups.
Limited use
Information accessed through the extension is used to provide and support its messaging features. We do not sell this information or use conversation content or screenshots for personalized advertising. Website advertising and cookie practices described elsewhere in this policy do not authorize those uses of extension information.
Our use of extension user data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Privacy requests
For questions about extension data or to request deletion of information held by Recovery Amped LLC, contact [email protected]. Removing local extension data does not automatically delete service backups or information already transmitted to an AI provider.
